Whether you’re a MN photographer or a MN bride, you’ve probably considered the weather when scheduling an engagement session.
What a lot of people don’t realize is that doing an indoor, or partially indoor photo shoot is also an option!
You can incorporate spaces that have meaning to you – like your own home or business. Aside from using your own space for a photo backdrop, you can also rent studios.
The shoot featured in this blog post was taken in Style Society’s clubhouse, which can be rented out.
Here are some indoor locations to consider near Minneapolis:
* Style Society
* Studio Apparatus
* Juniper Loft
* Studio 130
* The Neu Neu
* LAB
You could also check in with local venues or stylish restaurants, coffee shops and museums. (Note to MN Photographers – call ahead to see what their policies are regarding photo shoots.) If you’re feeling extra adventurous, you can incorporate and indoor activity like bowling or skating!
An indoor shoot location that is overlooked by both couples and photographers in MN, is renting an AirBNB.
This is my favorite!
You can plan your engagement session around a short “stay-cation” and really turn your shoot into an experience.
Start with indoor photos and wrap out outdoors, weather permitting.
Here are a few of my fav photo-worthy AirBNB’s near the Twin Cities:
* MN Arts District Storefront Apt
* Urban Plant Filled Apt
* Brick Loft Style Apt
* Boho Glamping in a Yurt
* Downtown Lift Bridge Loft
Some of these spaces are great options for getting ready the morning of your wedding as well.
