It started when I left my corporate accounting job, moved across the country and took a giant leap of faith. I found myself on a mission to freeze time, capture the in between moments that pass us by and to change the wedding industry for the better.

Enneagram 4w5 here with a love language somewhere in between words of affirmation and coffee!

I believe in spontaneous moments, exploring this earth, always doing what's right, learning and growing, being kind, the law of attraction, embracing your weird, taking chances and showing up for your passions 100%.

8 years ago I left my corporate accounting job and moved across the country to pursue my passion of photography.

Let's just say that I never looked back!

Aside from being behind the camera or creating resources for other photogs in my home office with my cat on my lap, you can find me dreaming up my next DIY house project (and then measuring it out with my hands), perfecting my latte making skills, cruising with the top off in my Bronco and Fleetwood Mac on the radio or dreaming up my next adventure.

I love plants, waking up early and getting a slow start to the day, living room yoga and soul searching.  You can usually find an old film camera in my purse because well... nostalgia!

This crazy life was made for me because I love the real emotions and unfiltered joy that comes along with marrying your person.

My hope for the industry is to make wedding days less about crossing items off of a shot list and more about being present in the real, raw and unposed moments.

Learn about my Philosophy and what inspired me to become a photographer

There are few things that inspire and excite me more than photography!

You know that feeling you get when your heart is in alignment with your life?

That's the kind of feeling that landed me into photography.

I knew I was meant for something other than a typical 9-5, so I pressed pause on schooling, left the corporate accounting world and moved across the country.

What I love the most about my job is that we take the time to get to know each other, so that I can tell your story in a way that ties together your past, present and the hopes for your future.

I'll support you and cheer you on in leaving those wedding traditions that don't serve you behind.

That way we can focus on capturing the memories and in between moments that will set your souls on fire to look back on 50 years from now.

Every elopement, every shoot, I see the world through a whole new lens. Your story will be different from the last,

I feel most inspired...

When trying something new.

Whether that's shooting in a new location or twisting into an awkward  pretzel to capture a new angle, seeing things with fresh eyes ignites my inner artist.

In the spontaneous moments.

Some of my fav memories come from unplanned moments - like road trips without a destination and last minute adventures.

Capturing the meaningful connections.

I have a deep understanding that the people who are celebrating alongside of you are a gift that isn't guaranteed forever.

These relationships are just as important for me to document as the one with your partner.

Rain, hail or shine, I won’t miss a beat

On your elopement day, I'll arrive with time to capture every little detail and pre-wedding emotion.

Writing your vows across the table from each other that morning... your soon-to-be partner putting on your dress...

Throughout the day we'll choose the best locations and lighting.

At times you'll find me laying low and capture moments from a purely documentary standpoint, while other times I'll step in to help foster connections, answer the question "What do I do with my hands?" and keep the day running smoothly.

Although organic feeling and unposed images are the main focus, if you have guests present, we'll be sure to include a set of family portraits and will mix in a couple of traditional shots to fill the empty frame at your parent's house.

You'll have the chance to relive the moments you were able to be fully present for through my lens.

Outside of working in and growing bkp, one of my favorite things to do is spend time with friends and family.

I've been blessed with the best support system, so love being around my people, but let's be honest...

I'm a total introvert at heart!

Some of my best me time is spent in a pair of comfy clothes with an episode of whatever the current binge worthy show is on Netflix.

I've always got a list of Pinterest-worthy house projects in mind for my days off.  This drives my husband a little crazy at times!

Some of my favorite adventures are from road trips and jet setting to celebrate love in new places.

That's a little sneak peek into my life and my favorite things!  Maybe it looks something like yours?  Maybe it looks wildly different?

We all have our own stories to tell and the things that make us well... us!

The beauty of being a wedding photographer is that I'm able to tell stories (hopefully yours too!) in a way that's personalized to you.
