Grace + Josh’s Bohemian Micro Wedding
I had so much fun capturing Grace + Josh’s lovely bohemian micro wedding. My favorite parts? The intimacy, aesthetics, and the way that their day was 110% unique to them.
From their sweet puppy to the champagne tower, down to the beachside tacos… this day was absolutely one for the books!

Bohemian Wedding Outfits
The morning of Grace + Josh’s wedding was full of giddy smiles, even from the guys. As Josh prepared to marry the love of his life, it was easy to see how excited he was to see her coming down the aisle!
Josh was wearing Ted Baker and he was rocking this suit. He looked every bit the handsome groom.
His boutonniere was perfect for their bohemian wedding.
My favorite part of Josh’s outfit was definitely his bolo tie. I thought this was such a cool substitute for a traditional groom’s tie. It’s the perfect nod to how every detail of their day was unique to the two of them, focusing on nothing more than their love for each other!

Grace was glowing in her Wtoo by Watters Miles Gown. As her closest gals all got ready together, the love + excitement of the day was tangible. They laughed and chatted in this adorable Minneapolis Airbnb before Grace got into her dress and had the best time together.
And can we talk about THIS DRESS?! It was so dang perfect for their dreamy bohemian wedding!
Plus, those sleevessss and the lace crossover in the front fit the boho vibes of this day beautifully.
And finally, the way she topped it all off with this hat + her Lulus shoes?? Priceless.

Boho Wedding Details
These two cuties did an amazing job planning out the boho wedding in their indoor venue! I loved the personal touches, like these polaroids they placed around their cake table, which they took that morning! What a cute idea, right?

Before their ceremony began, guests helped themselves to coffee + croissants from French Meadow Bakery & Cafe. Everyone mingled as they waited for the ceremony to begin and I fell in love with the idea of starting your wedding off with coffee & croissants – who else wants that? And I could just tell that their loved ones were so over the moon to be celebrating with the happy couple!
When Grace walked down the aisle, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house!! And their florist did an amazing job with the boho bouquet that she carried with her.
As Grace + Josh said their vows to each other, you could tell how ready they were to be married. When Josh looks at Grace, I swear you can see the little heart eye emojis pop up!
Afterward, their light lunch was also catered by French Meadow Bakery & Cafe, and their cake + dessert by Edelweiss Bakery. This day was full of such yummy stuff!

Toasts + Tales
In place of formal speeches, they did “toasts + tales” where the group went around and shared stories or gave toasts for the newlyweds!
As the family went around and shared stories, I could tell that Grace + Josh were loved so deeply. This was one of the best moments of the day, in my opinion! Their laughter was infectious and it was obvious that the couple had the best support system in the world.
It was such an intimate, unique idea – just look at those smiles!
Indoor Wedding Venue: The Annex in Minneapolis
If you’re looking for places to get married in Minneapolis, I definitely recommend The Annex! It’s a lovely indoor wedding venue.
From the plants to the exposed brick, the aesthetics really lent to the intimate atmosphere of Grace + Josh’s micro wedding.

I love loved this venue for so many reasons! The Annex is a venue that provides you with what’s basically a blank canvas to create your DREAM wedding day. It’s located in south Minneapolis, and offers more event opportunities than just weddings, including private dinners, parties, & more!
Weekday event rental costs start at $1,000, and weekend rates at $1,500 for The Annex. If you’ve fallen in love with the space like I have, I definitely recommend booking a tour and seeing if it’s the perfect place for your own wedding! They answer all sorts of FAQ’s on their website here.

The sunset portraits at this Minneapolis wedding
Grace + Josh had a morning ceremony, but that wasn’t going to stop us from taking the dreamiest sunset pics.
I love capturing couples in their most authentic moments. Here’s Grace + Josh just enjoying each other’s company and being so utterly, completely, in love. Makes my heart smile every time!

We met up for beachside tacos in the evening and had the most perfect golden hour bridal session. This sunset was such a beautiful end to the most romantic day!
Congratulations again to Josh + Grace! May you have the happiest life together!
