It's looking at your wedding gallery and film for the first time and knowing that the images capture people's souls. It's never understanding how beautiful you are until you can see yourself fully, completely immersed in all of the little moments on your wedding day.

My hope is to make wedding days less about crossing items off of a shot list and more about being present in the real, raw and unposed moments.

2021 – My Year in Review!

Portrait

I helped my bestie celebrate her 30th

Too much fun was had at my bachelorette party…

We got married at Red Rock Canyon in Las Vegas (+ I became a step-mom)!

… then went straight to our honeymoon in Key West

One week later, I was on my way across the country again to co-host our first ever content retreat in Colorado… The Untamed Collective!

A month later, I was back in Colorado for an elopement and a surprise proposal with the most amazing couples!

On that same trip, I also rented a kayak, visited Mesa Verde National Park and spontaneously got a ticket to see Shakey Graves in concert at Red Rocks Amphitheater.

We went up north for the 4th of July and stayed at a cabin owned by my husband’s uncle. We’ve been doing this for the last few years!

I ventured to the East coast, where I captured another elopement on the coast of CT, then visited Salem, MA.

We cheered the Twin’s on at a home game in Minneapolis

Then went camping with my other bestie + her family!

Of course, I attended many weddings… but this one I was able to go to strictly as a guest and I had the time of my life!

I took a ferry over Lake Michigan to shoot some epic photos on the sand dunes. Even I underestimated Michigan’s beauty and how fun the ferry would be!

We celebrated 2 years in heaven for my baby sister on September 12th.

I made it back out to my old city of Portland, Oregon to visit a couple of old friends and photograph a wedding for a high school classmate!

A couple of weeks after this, I visited AutoCamp and Yosemite National Park for a photography workshop the first time!

Just under a month later, I was back in California again for another elopement, but this time I visited Palm Springs and Pioneertown!

From here, I flew straight to Arizona and attended my last content retreat of the year in Tucson!

To wrap up the year we surprised Brayden with a trip to Disney!
